Customer Account Coordinator

MCR Safety, a division of Bunzl, is seeking a Customer Account Coordinator for our office in Collierville. This position is primarily responsible for performing customer service activities and sales support on product information and goods purchased. The duties and responsibilities of a Customer Account Coordinator (CAC) include managing incoming calls and customer service inquiries, along with identifying and assessing customer needs to achieve satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a business-to-business environment.

• Standard office hours: Monday

• Friday, 8:00am

• 5:00pm

• Starting pay range: $18/hr - $19/hr, dependent on experience

Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchase orders and inquiries via our on-line system

• Provide product price and availability

• Provide cross reference for competitor lines

• Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls

• Identify opportunities to up-sell additional products

• Expedite/backorder reporting

• Open order reporting

• Function as liaison between customers and Sales team to exceed customer needs

• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication

• Work directly with customers to facilitate shipping schedules, material requirements, order changes, tracking of shipments, and lead times

• Stay up-to-date of all customer account processes

• Support all Inside Sales, Sales and Customer Service activities, including order entry, order management, order acknowledgement and order status updates to customers

• Stay active with our on-line chat system

• Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods and resources

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous customer service experience

• 3-5 years of business-to-business, account management or related experience

• Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems highly preferred

• Experience working with EDI order entry preferred

• Data entry proficiency

• Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook
