Customer Account Administrator

This position belongs to AWTEC's Customer Account Management Department, whose responsibility it is to quote and launch new programs, and maintain exemplary performance in the service of existing accounts.

Responsibilities for This Position Include:

  • Accurate and timely processing of customer orders via manual methods and EDI transactions.

  • Review incoming orders and adjust as required based upon customer contracts, inventory levels, manufacturing capacity etc.

  • Maintain compliance with various customer portal requirements.

  • Work closely with Sales, Manufacturing, and Warehousing to meet customer requirements.

  • Maintain customer scorecard performance.

  • Take action to address customer concerns, including root cause determination and development of corrective action.

  • Review supplier manuals, identify and understand changes in customer requirements, and inform relevant team members within the organization.

  • Reporting

  • Compile daily and various monthly reports

  • Receive customer forecasts and track against actual sales

  • Track various part number updates and launches

  • Ensuring smooth part launch between various departments

  • Attend and participate in weekly status meetings

  • Provide pricing updates to internal team members for set-up

  • Manage Warranty claims to ensure proper payment within various customer portals

  • Create open order, update customer portal and manage inventory through part return and scrap process

  • Weekly auditing on manual orders

  • Upkeep and update of work process instructions

The Skills we are looking for Include:

  • Associate's degree required.

  • Experience with ERP systems - preferably IBM iSeries based.

  • 3 to 5 years of Automotive Customer Service experience.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a professional demeanor.

  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft products.

  • Ability to prioritize and balance a diverse and dynamic workload.

  • A self-starter who is equally comfortable and effective in a team environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills are required.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail.
