Custodian/Housekeeping - Part Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Custodian/Housekeeping to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all occupants. The Custodian/Housekeeping will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing various areas, such as offices, restrooms, common spaces, and other assigned areas. This individual will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks and restocking supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping role is a plus
• Familiarity with cleaning materials and equipment
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in designated areas
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure they are stocked with necessary items
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas
• Clean windows, mirrors, glass surfaces, and other fixtures
• Maintain and clean common areas, including hallways, entrances, and breakrooms
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures while using cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Adhere to established cleaning schedules and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Assist in setting up and arranging furniture, equipment, and supplies for meetings or events
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed
• Adhere to company policies and regulations regarding cleanliness, health, and safety standards
