Job Title: Custodian
Branch: Jennersville YMCA
Location: West Grove, PA
Shifts/Availability: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Pay Rate: $12.00- $18.00/hour
About the YMCA of Greater Brandywine: The YMCA of Greater Brandywine (YGBW), an association of eight YMCAs serving Chester County, is a non-profit organization committed to nurturing the potential of every child, promoting healthy living and fostering social responsibility through life-changing programs for all.
Position Purpose: The Jennersville YMCA is looking for a Housekeeper to maintain the overall cleanliness of the facility and to assist with room set-ups.
Responsibilities:
Understand and perform custodial functions
Maintain a safe environment for members, participants and general public while performing work duties
Locker room cleanliness and trash removal
Assist with occasional grounds maintenance tasks
Evaluate and report any health, safety or cleanliness issues to supervisor Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
Demonstrate knowledge of basic custodial equipment and functions
Ability to relate well with staff and general public
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have HS diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 year experience required
Experience with floor machines is preferred
