The Kent Center School is seeking a passionate custodian dedicated to maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments. Skilled in custodial services, basic equipment maintenance, and problem-solving. Committed to creating positive experiences for all building occupants through attention to detail and teamwork. Working Conditions:

Kent Center School serves students in grades PK-8. All employees work as a team in a respectful, caring environment. The school has a positive, welcoming tone and a candidate must be friendly, flexible, and helpful toward all co-workers and community members who are in the building.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain all rooms and hallways according to State standards and the school district.

• Set up and dismantle chairs and tables in multi-function rooms and gymnasium when needed.

• Perform minor repairs when needed.

• Assist in emergency situations as needed.

• Assist in snow removal.

• Pick up and remove trash.

• Follow all safety rules.

• Assist in receiving and distrubtion of deliveries.

Hours/Days:

Full year position with seasonal schedule as noted below:

• School Year (September

• Mid-June): 5 hours/day

• Summer: (Mid-Late June

• August): 8 hours/day

Salary: $18.00/hour
