Job Description:

Microchip Technology is looking for an individual to join our team at the Mount Holly Springs, PA location. The successful candidate in the custodian position will have the following responsibilities..,

Responsibilities:

• General cleaning / sanitizing of the building and keeping it maintained

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming

• Clean / sanitize, mop and stock all restrooms daily

• Dust and clean windows

• Vacuum if needed and clean all conference rooms

• Remove garbage and recycling daily

• Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified work orders

• Organize janitorial storage areas

• Notify manager about unsafe conditions or need for repairs or maintenance

• Cleaning of cafeteria area after employee breaks and lunches

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Janitorial experience preferred

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to manage time efficiently

• Ability to work under minimal supervision

• Ability to lift 30 pounds

• Strong attention to detail

• Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies

• Able to use basic cleaning equipment
