Custodian - Immediate Opening - 30 Hours Per Week

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment. He/she will perform general janitorial cleaning and light maintenance duties.
Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities for this position may include (but are not limited to):
Daily cleaning of all school spaces, including thoroughly cleaning/sanitizing and/or dusting all hard surfaces in restrooms, classrooms, offices, cafeteria, and other spaces throughout the day
Checking and restocking restroom supplies (tissue, paper towels, soap) in all dispensers throughout the school on a daily basis
Other tasks as assigned by the Director of Maintenance, Principal, or other school administrator

Key Qualifications

High School or equivalent education
Strong commitment to education and to serving students
Strong verbal communication skills, including good customer service and a positive "can-do" attitude
Attention to detail and ability to produce high quality work

Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and goals, and work independently
