FUNCTION: To assist in the maintenance of and keeping the building and grounds in a condition of operational excellence, cleanliness and safety so full educational use is always available.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete the cleaning schedule for the areas assigned within the appropriate amount of time;

Assist with necessary building maintenance and grounds (lawn mowing, snow removal) as assigned by the supervisor;

Use equipment in the building as needed; (buffers, mowers, etc.)

Other duties as assigned by the supervisor;

Assist with set up for extracurricular activities indoors and outdoors;

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

SALARY: $12.93 based on the 2017-2018 salary schedule.

SCHEDULE: 210 Days per Year. 7 hrs Mon. - Thr. 6 hrs Friday during school year, 6 hrs/days outside school year.

VIEW JOBS 10/4/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-01-02T00:00 Position: * This position will provide liaison support to our students and families by providing supplemental educational and supportive services to eligible students in our four K-5 elementary schools. Responsibilities: * Support the unique educational and culturally related academic needs of our most at-risk students (Title VI, Title IX, and Title III) in achieving the same challenging state standards as all students. * Connect with families of our most at-risk students (Title VI, Title IX, and Title III) students to address and support the culturally related academic needs. * Advocate and promote student accomplishments to boost and foster confidence and self-esteem among students. * Assist families in knowing the available supports and services for all qualified (Title VI, Title IX, and Title III) students. * Support families to increase the number of our most at-risk students (Title VI, Title IX, and Title III) students successfully at each elementary grade level. * Work collaboratively with building leadership, KBBH staff, EBIS/RTI teams, classroom teachers to facilitate and provide services and supports. * Maintain professional relationships with students, families, co-workers, and community partners. * Compiles and corrects a variety of information; verify data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures. * Prepare and maintain a variety of records, logs and files including information of a confidential nature; maintain the confidentiality of student and staff information and records. * Other duties as assigned Requirements: * High school diploma/equivalent; * Must be considered highly qualified by the Oregon Department of Education (Associate's Degree or pass paraprofessional skills testing prior to employment); * Experience working with children and families; * Must have good human relation skills and be able to communicate well with others; * Ability to multi-task and be flexible to meet the varying needs of families, students, and staff. * Superb organization skills in collecting and organizing data * Proficient with electronic communication, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets; and be comfortable with student database software as well as general office equipment operation such as phones, fax, copier, etc. * Must have the ability and willingness to learn a wide variety of tasks; * The employee is expected to be dressed and groomed in a neat, clean and appropriate professional manner for the assignment and work setting. Schedule: 5 hours per day/181 days per year (to be prorated to reflect actual start date) This posting will remain open until 4/27/18 at minimum or until filled.
