Shifts Available:

2 positions for Day shift

  • 6am

  • 6pm Rotating Shift

2 Positions for Night shift

  • 6pm

  • 6am

  • Rotating shift

Pay Rate: $16.05 - 19.05/hr

Position Purpose

The Custodian will be a key player in the continuous improvement process of this facility. The role of this position is to clean and sanitize all areas of the Shipping/ Distribution operation plant. Operation of the compactor for all domestic waste.

Key Accountabilities

Principal Accountabilities

  • Detail clean all assigned areas of the plant.

  • Record and maintain sanitation records and sign off on completed projects

  • Work safely with cleaning chemicals used at the plant.

  • Being self-motivated and be able to be self-directed.

  • Make suggestions for continuous improvement in the plant.

  • Follow all safety procedures in the plant.

  • Follow all quality requirements to avoid contamination while cleaning.

  • Must be able to obtain fork lift license .

  • Follow all GMP and operational sanitation practices in the plant.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.


Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or Equivalent

  • Basic computer skills

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.

  • Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old

  • Ability to work on platforms and cold environments.

  • Must be available for overtime

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in fast paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in production related work.

  • Forklift certified.
