Position: Maintenance/Custodian

Location: Woodson ISD

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.

• Conduct daily inspections to identify and address maintenance issues such as plumbing leaks, electrical problems, and structural damage.

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for events and activities.

• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and submit orders for replenishment as needed.

• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience in custodial or maintenance work preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

• Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with staff, students, and visitors.

• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and kneeling.

• Knowledge of basic maintenance techniques and equipment operation.
