Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs routine and project cleaning of assigned classrooms, office areas, meeting rooms, corridors, lavatories, and locker rooms.

• Completes set-ups and take downs of chairs, tables, and heavy or bulky equipment as directed

• Cleans up and santizes after accidents or illness

• Assists in cleaning and monitoring boilers, vents, and air handling equipment.

• Maintains and properly stores tools and equipment.

• Follows all security measures when opening or closing a facility.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Customer service oriented

• Strong communication skills

• Team player

• Reliable

• Custodial experience preferred, training will be provided.

POSITION: Custodian LOCATION: Concord Elementary HOURS PER DAY: 8 hours/day DAILY SCHEDULE: 2:00-10:30pm, M-F DAYS PER YEAR: 260 (12-month position) RATE OF PAY: Pursuant to the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), this position has a starting hourly rate of $22.06 BENEFITS: Pursuant to the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Contract CLOSING DATE: Open until filled APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Apply online at www.edinaschools.org/careers.
