Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs routine and project cleaning of assigned classrooms, office areas, meeting rooms, corridors, lavatories, and locker rooms.

• Completes set-ups and take downs of chairs, tables, and heavy or bulky equipment as directed

• Cleans up and santizes after accidents or illness

• Assists in cleaning and monitoring boilers, vents, and air handling equipment.

• Maintains and properly stores tools and equipment.

• Follows all security measures when opening or closing a facility.

POSITION: Custodian LOCATION: South View Middle School HOURS PER DAY: 8 hours/day DAILY SCHEDULE: 3:30pm - 12:00am, M-F DAYS PER YEAR: 261 (12-month position) RATE OF PAY: Pursuant to the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Collective Bargaining Agreement, this position has a starting hourly rate of $22.06 BENEFITS: Pursuant to the SEIU Collective Bargaining Agreement QUALIFICATIONS: -High school diploma or equivalent

• Must have or be willing to obtain pool license
