Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining common and office areas in a clean and orderly condition. The person in this position is expected to know and support the mission and values of Dominican Oaks and to apply the Dominican Oaks philosophy while performing daily job tasks.

Minimum:

  • High school diploma OR equivalent; OR six (6) to nine (9) months related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals is required.

  • Ability to speak effectively with residents and staff is required.

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English is required.

  • Ability to demonstrate basic math skills is required.

  • Ability to follow instructions and demonstrate good judgement and problem solving skills is required.
