The Position

Custodial Workers perform general cleaning services to State facilities using various cleaning equipment and materials to provide a safe, hygienic and orderly work environment.

Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services (SNAMHS) is recruiting for a Custodial Worker II. This position is in the Housekeeping department, located at Rawson-Neal Psychiatric Hospital, 1650 Community College Dr., Las Vegas, NV.

Duties include performing various tasks related to restroom maintenance; clean and disinfect patient rooms, seclusion rooms, medication rooms, nursing stations, conference rooms, utility rooms, office areas, and various areas related to in-patient and out-patient care; maintain carpets, hard floors, walls, windows, vents, light fixtures, and touchable surfaces; empty trash receptacles, clean trash receptacles, and transport trash to containment areas. Work schedules range from 6:00 am to 10:30 pm and include weekends and holidays depending on the needs of the agency.
