Custodial Positions - 2Nd Shift

We are currently searching for two 2nd Shift Custodial positions in our Order Fulfillment Center located in Freeport Maine. The 2nd shift schedule is Monday - Friday, from 3:00p to 11:30p.

These positions start at over $17/hour and provide 40 hours of work each week.

This important position maintains the cleanliness of assigned areas.

Responsibilities:

• Performs general cleaning duties to include vacuuming, sweeping and washing floors, dusting, washing windows, cleaning lavatories, carpet maintenance, etc.

• Maintains designated recycling centers in assigned areas.

• Communicates with internal customers regarding cleaning requests.

• Performs special cleaning requests and projects as needed.

• Assists with snow shoveling and sanding.

• Operates cleaning equipment; buffer, extractor and auto scrubber.

• Reports facility-related problems/concerns to appropriate personnel.

• Knows and follows all safety rules and procedures. Reports any unsafe acts or conditions.

Employees are expected to be active participants in health and safety by following all safety policies and procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or at-risk behaviors to leadership, and conducting work in a safe manner. Those in a leadership role are also expected to model safe behaviors, evaluate risk, and ensure that risks are reduced to acceptable levels.

Education Level: Less than High School

Experience: No Experience Required

Skills and Qualifications:

• Able to lift up to 35lbs.

• Team player.

• Self-directed.
