Custodian Substitute

JOB TYPE: As Needed

SCHEDULE: M-F

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities. This position requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to ensuring a clean and safe environment.

Duties:

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas

• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly

• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies

• Perform minor maintenance tasks as needed

• Follow safety protocols and guidelines for handling cleaning chemicals

Experience:

• Prior experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred

• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing

• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and procedures

• Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus
