Custodial Position

Job Description:

POSITION: Custodian

• Full-Time: 40 hours per week

• Second shift during school year

DESCRIPTION: A Custodian works with school administration and other district staff to ensure the school facility requirements are met. Responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of their assigned building, assisting in snow removal, setting up for meetings and events, and moving furniture and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in custodial service preferred

• Must possess good interpersonal communication skills

• Must have the ability to work cooperatively with others

• Must be able to perform frequent stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 40 pounds

START DATE: July 1, 2024

RATE OF PAY: $20.06 per hour (pending contract approval)
