Custodial Foreman

REPORTS TO: MAINTENANCE/TRANSPORTATION DIRECTOR and
AUXILIARY SERVICES ASSISTANT

ROLE AND PURPOSE:
Perform general maintenance and repair of building structures and their mechanical,
electrical, and sanitary system throughout the district. Assist with maintenance of grounds.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Certification/Education:
Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures
High School diploma or GED
Valid Texas drivers' license

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to follow verbal or written instructions.
Knowledge to communicate effectively (verbally)
Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment
Ability to lift from 20 to 30 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally
Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies
Knowledge of building and ground maintenance and basic techniques of minor repairs
Demonstrate aptitude for successful completion of the tasks assigned
Ability to work independently

Minimum Experience:
One year experience in general building maintenance
