Position Description:

We are currently seeking a Curriculum Kit Developer to join our team of custom solutions experts. In this role, you will interface with curriculum publishers in the development of custom kits designed for use by PreK - 12 students and teachers in schools and educational institutions nationwide. Consulting with our clients' product managers and editorial teams, you will leverage hand2mind's industry-leading kit development process to design and cost custom kit bundles to meet the unique needs of each client. Working cross-functionally with our supply chain and planning teams as a subject matter expert, you will assist in the timely sourcing, planning, and assembly of kits and the on-going maintenance of clients' kit portfolios.

Scope of Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

• Correlate clients' product specifications to hand2mind's vast product master to create kit component bill of material structures using Excel templates.

• Review clients' curriculum activities to accurately select components and provide options designed to meet clients' price, quality, and learning objectives.

• Perform Science activity experiments as needed to ensure efficacy of components and to provide clients with activity results and editorial comments.

• Work with hand2mind's quality and compliance team to ensure kit components and label meet applicable governmental safety standards and clients' performance standards.

• Assist in the sourcing of unique components as needed.

• Work with hand2mind sales manager to price client proposals in accordance with company's profit goals.

• Perform other duties for this role as assigned and necessary

Requirements/Preferences:

• Bachelor's Degree

• Classroom teaching or educational product management/editorial experience

• Science background required

• Proficient working in a computer environment

• Microsoft Office Suite: Intermediate level Word/Excel/Outlook
