Sacred Heart Catholic School: CURRICULUM & INSTRUCTION COORDINATOR Overall Responsibility: To provide leadership and assist the principal with the administration and supervision of the academic program of Sacred Heart Catholic School. Specific Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, revision, and evaluation of curriculum

• Provide leadership in the development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of curriculum

• Assist principal in the selection of new teachers

• Supervise the orientation of new teachers

• Review and analyze data for the improvement of instruction

• Conducts regular formal and informal classroom visits and holds follow-up interviews with teachers

• Supports and assist instructional staff and improving instruction, planning course objectives and ongoing curriculum development

• Works with the principal to supervise and evaluate Personnel performance

• Supervises standardized and curricular examination program

• Assist the principal in supervising and administering the master schedule program

• Plan, initiate and evaluate procedures to improve the educational progra

• Assist the principal in developing and implementing the staff development program

• Provide direction in the development and implementation of desired student expectations

• Provide direction in the development, implementation and evaluation of programs, procedures and strategies to address student support services and grade level expectations

• Attend "Staffings" as the administrator in charge

• Oversee schedules and updates of grades

• Assumes responsibility in the absence of the principal

• Participate in the following internal committees: student support service, WCEA leadership, strategic planning, and the school advisory board

• Participates in the following external committee's: Diocesan Principal Committee

• Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor as required Qualifications

• Masters in Educational Leadership
