CLA is looking to hirean Impact/People - Operations Coordinator to join our Internal Operations team in our Des Moines or Cedar Rapids, IA office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, takes initiative and demonstrates the ability to foster and maintain relationships at all levels within the firm!

In this position, they will directly impact culture through operational and management support for the Cedar Rapids and Des Moines offices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with campus recruiting efforts between the office/region and Human Resources teams, includes coordinating campus interviews, office visits and managing all new hire on-boarding

  • Identify intentional efforts to take, in response to our employee satisfaction survey results

  • Lead office committees devoted to staff culture and facilitate all on-site/off-site employee relations events

  • Implement and sustain the CLA Iowa onboarding plan, that will include hands-on support to Hiring Managers, Buddies, and Direct Supervisors

  • Be a model for appropriate office behavior and communication

  • Be a sounding board for issues, as they arise, and assist the Operations Director with creating workflow processes/solutions

  • Comfortable with public speaking/training/webcasts/events

  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects/tasks with a strong attention to detail

  • Must be able to work independently or within a team environment

  • Must be comfortable working with computers/ technology

  • Other duties or task may be assigned, etc

Education and Experience preferred or required:

  • 3 or more years of related experience

  • High school degree or equivalent. Associate or Bachelor's degree, a plus

  • Proficiency with Workday and Professional services industry experience, a plus

  • Travel expected about 10% and reliable transportation required

  • Proficient in the use of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
