The technician position performs manual labor to assist in the upkeep, stocking, and fulfillment of growing medicinal cannabis, including, but not limited to; watering, feeding, flushing, pruning, washing, cloning, and transplanting under supervision. Attention to detail is extremely important. The ideal candidate will excel as a team member within a tightly controlled, state regulated system and timelines.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Sowing, thinning, weeding, transplanting, moving plants, watering, applications, potting, shipping and loading.
  • General duties around the nursery as they relate to the upkeep of the nursery.
  • Knowledge of growing techniques, including; Germination, Cloning, and Transplantation.
  • Plant pests and other perils, with a keen eye for spotting issues before they become a problem.
  • Harvesting
  • Manage marijuana plants, giving each individual plant the attention it needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ability to execute techniques consistently
  • Communication Proficiency.
  • Time Management.
  • Self-directed, organized, and detail-oriented with strong problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Able to work efficiently and accurately.
  • ?Flexible, collaborative, team-oriented person with good communication skills.
  • ?Must be a dexterous, adaptable individual.

Work Environment:
The employee will be expected to work inside in a controlled warehouse/greenhouse and growing atmosphere and must have suitable clothing.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee must be ability to lift up to 65 pounds and be able to maneuver between growing tables that are 24 inches apart. The employee must also be able to repeatedly carry 15-20 pounds the length of warehouse/greenhouse.
Required Education and Experience:
Basic math skills.
High school Diploma
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree or horticultural, Technical Certification preferred
Prior nursery, landscaping, and/or agricultural experience.
?Experience in medical cannabis industry or other alternative healthcare organizations is highly desirable.
Work Authorization:
There is no visa or H1-B sponsorship. Candidates must successfully complete a tier 2 criminal record check.

You will relate technical concepts to SAS System applications and user needs and oversee the technical progress of ongoing services projects; focus on the underlying Data Architecture and SAS technology core and may specialize in specific technical issues such as security, data management, system integration, database architecture and design, and ETL. Responsibilities: * Working closely with customers, you will utilize your experience in a variety of company products to participate in design and implementation software that helps people make better decisions. * Build a trusted relationship with client teams to provide practical guidance in the functional and technical aspects of proposed software and set proper expectations to ensure customer satisfaction. * Extract data from a variety of data sources, transform data, and load it into data warehouses and marts. * Profile data for data quality; and develop and implement cleansing rules. * Work with other team members to develop reports and utilize state of the art analytic techniques. Essentials: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. * Enterprise-level skills: ETL Development, Data Modeling, SAS Programming, and SQL querying. * Understand, utilize and communicate Data Management best practice methodologies and industry standards internally and externally. Preferences: * Knowledge of one or more database technologies and appliances (Oracle, DB2, TeraData, Greenplum, Hadoop). * Experience with designing ETL Architectures and solutions. * Experience with at least one ETL/Data Management tool (SAS Data Integration, Informatica, Pentaho, etc.) * Advanced report design and build experience (SAS, Tableau, other). * Data Modeling experience (Allfusion). * Mapping or geospatial software development experience. * Transportation domain experience (I.e. roadways). Additional Abilities and Skills: * Comprehend the details of complex system software. * Excellent verbal, written communication skills. * Effectively communicate designs and decisions to peers, customers, and management. * Create presentations and illustrations to drive design, training, and feedback. * Train and mentor others in a group and one-on-one settings. * Must have clear understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices. * Develop logical and physical data models (Dimensional) * Develop mappings of source system data to target data model with business and transformation rules * Demonstrated leadership/influencer in architecture topics (publishes articles, leads demand generation activities, and speaks at technical events).
