Do you have what it takes to provide Culinary instruction to young adults?
We are a therapeutic school for children with special needs and are seeking a compassionate and qualified Culinary Project Trainer who loves to share their knowledge of the culinary trade! This position will include interacting with our students in a classroom setting. We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable with various aspect of the culinary trade and is able to pass along that knowledge to our young students while creating projects.
The Culinary Vocational Trainer is responsible for the oversight, development, and management of the culinary training programs at the Devereux School. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of culinary curriculum based on Best Practice Guidelines and Certification Requirements (e.g. Safe Serve). In this role you would be responsible for delivering educational instruction and services in a way that meets the diverse needs of the student population.
Additional job responsibilities include ordering of supplies, management of the classroom environment, completion of required paperwork related to student progress, and communication with internal and external treatment team members.
