Walker Methodist Plaza is recruiting for a Culinary Services Supervisor to work in their kitchen training and assisting staff in food preparation for side work, table service while following sanitation and safety procedures at all times. Will also serve as back-up cook and prepare high quality meals following recipes, portion controls, presentation specifications and resident therapeutic diets. Assist with ordering and placing inventory.
Schedule:
Full time, 80 hours/pay period
10am-6:30pm
Every other weekend
Minimum qualifications:
Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
Two years experience in food service and dining environment.
One year experience as a cook, in a long term care facility or hospitality/restaurant setting
ServSafe certificate or ability to obtain within three months of hire
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to follow written and oral directions
Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds
