Position Requirements:
The ideal Manager in Training candidate at University of Colorado lives locally in the Denver/Boulder region and has previous experience and/or education in one of the following specialties: sports & entertainment business management, event operations, hospitality, and/or culinary arts. Candidates will be open to potential relocation and willing to travel to beyond the seasonal management expectation.

Position Description: The Levy Management Training Program builds a foundation for you to become successful in the hospitality industry. Our Company strongly believes in developing our managers into the future leaders of our organization, which is why we provide our MITs full, robust and well-rounded training.

In this six month paid Management Training program (August 1st-January 31st, 2018) you will enjoy working in the big leagues with our operations teams in both front and back of house. Your learning track will consist of an overview of vital aspects of our operations and soft skill training. Your participation in the "on-the-job" training will provide valuable knowledge and experience to enhance your career opportunities

Front of House Track

A rotational practicum to cross-train in the following front of house areas for example:

  • Catering: Private Events, Backstage Catering, Team Catering and Event Day Operations

  • Group Sales: Sales Process and Operation

  • Concessions: Stand, Portable, Bar Operations

  • Premium: Suite, Club and Restaurant Operations

  • Purchasing: Warehouse Operations

  • Finance: Managing budgets, data and analytics

Clinic duties include, but are not limited to rooming patients, obtaining and documenting patient history in electronic edical record, ordering x-rays per physician orders, preparing injections, assisting physicians with injections,preparing patients for injections, cast removal, fitting f braces, splints, and slings, suture removal, home exercise program instruction,and coordination of patients through their appointment . The ATC/Clinical Assistant will also triage patient phone calls, refill patient prescriptions, provide patients with provider directed follow up care, communicate with insurance companies regarding prior authorization for viscosupplementation, schedule Doppler Venous ultrasound procedures for patients and maintain Clinic inventory. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education or Formal Training EMT Certification, Medical Assistant Training or Wilderness Responder Training preferred. Special Qualifications (Licensure, Registration, etc.) 1. Colorado Athletic Trainer Certificate 2. NATA Membership preferred 3. BLS certification required by the end of the conditional period. Knowledge, Skill and Ability Experience MA/ATC or medical back office experience in Orthopedic/Sports Medicine preferred. MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED 1. Telephone 2. Computers - Medical Manager software 3. Fax Machine 4. Copy Machine 5. Cast Saw 6. Suture/Staple Removal Instruments 7. Injection Supplies/Instruments WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES 1. Requires eight hours of sitting and/or standing and walking. May require excessive walking (greater than 50%). 2. The employee must be able to consistently support, push, pull and/or lift up to 10 pounds, frequently support, push, pull and/or lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally support, push, pull and/or transfer up to 50 pounds (for example, moving a patient from a wheelchair to a bed). 3. Must be able to tolerate noise and multiple interruptions. 4. Manual dexterity to operate equipment and assist patient in clinical setting. 5. Visual and hearing acuity to assure safety of self and others in these areas. 6. Must have ability to assist patients. 7. Hours may include extended hours depending on job necessity. INTERRELATIONSHIPS Interacts with patients and other BCH staff, participating physicians and the staff members. SUPERVISORY DUTIES None. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Consistent and on time attendance is an essential function of the position. 2. Directs patients to appropriate treatment room, performs appropriate patient intake depending on the patient#s practitioner. 3. Provides patient teaching when appropriate. 4. Assists physicians and with patient treatment as appropriate, within scope of their practice (prep for injections, removal of sutures, taking of vital signs, etc.. 5. Maintains medical supplies. 6.
