Quarterly Bonuses (based upon reaching established goals)
Reporting to assigned Supervisor, transports freight and related materials by commercial motor vehicle.
Delivers and picks up freight as assigned/dispatched in an efficient, effective, safe, and timely manner.
Effectively and professionally interacts with demanding customers.
Makes inside deliveries as directed by dispatcher.
Runs specials as required.
Peddles and does pickups as assigned.
Runs distribution freight as required, which includes the use of specific scanners.
Reports departures, arrivals, and POD information.
Ensures proper, accurate, complete and timely processing of related paperwork, etc. as required in support of position duties/responsibilities.
Understands, supports, and promotes Tax-Air's philosophy and commitment to safety and security at all times.
Ensures all paperwork is complete, accurate, legible and processed in a timely manner.
Follows DOT and CFR regulations/requirements.
Handles freight loading/unloading/rearranging, etc. as required at terminal and/or dispatch locations.
Performs complete vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Ensures driver inspection reports and logs are accurately completed in a timely manner.
Proven experience in driving commercial motor vehicles; possesses and maintains required licenses and certifications for freight hauled.
Physically able to handle required loading/unloading and rearranging of freight as required.
May operate a forklift and basic material handling equipment as required while moving, loading, rearranging, and/or unloading freight.
Other duties as may be required.
Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Proven ability to work positively and effectively in a fast-paced, changing-priority, and stressful environment.
Possesses and maintains all required and/or valid licenses or certifications; must be able to pass driving and drug/alcohol tests per DOT and/or Company requirements.
Able to read maps and possesses proper maps for the route.
Able to proficiently utilize phone, fax, copier, etc.
Minimum 2 years of straight truck driving experience preferred.
Valid driver's license.
Knowledge of route area.
