JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing and Communications Manager serves as a critical collaborator on the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) team. Responsible for the development and execution of all strategic marketing and communications initiatives, and overall CU-ICAR brand management with the express goal of enhancing campus visibility and reputation. Serves as primary liaison to external media outlets. Plans and executes logistics for on and off-campus CU-ICAR-related events. Performs other duties as assigned.

Campus Marketing Management:
Collaborate with the greater Clemson University Marketing and Communications team to develop and execute an overarching strategy designed to promote campus research initiatives, student recruitment, industry/governmental partnerships and other campus activities and opportunities. Work closely with the real estate broker organization (if any) and other economic development organizations on tools to attract industry to the CU-ICAR innovation campus. Manage CU-ICAR's digital presence to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with organizational goals. Monitor and analyze communication metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies and tactics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Develop and manage CU-ICAR's annual marketing budget, collaborating with key stakeholders to align financial resources with strategic objectives, campaign priorities, and performance targets.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Expected Salary Range: $ 54,974.00 - $ 90,000.00
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL
Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
