Date Needed: 2024-2025 School Year Applicants must possess or qualify for: • Possess appropriate California Single Subject Credential OR possess or qualify for an appropriate California Career Technical Teaching Credential authorizing Computer Education. • Working knowledge of the core concepts of the 2016 K12 Computer Science Framework. • Expertise in Microsoft Office Productivity Suite and Google Apps for Education. Working knowledge of web-based applications and learning environments (Google Classroom, OdysseyWare, etc.). • Ability to foster an inclusive computing culture where students collaborate and communicate about problems and how computers can be used to solve them. • Ability to promote and model digital citizenship and responsible social interactions related to the use of technology and digital information. This position will teach CTE Computer Science classes at both of our Golden Gate Community School Site(s), Point Richmond and Richmond location. This position is a .5 FTE, the teacher in this position will work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
