This internship opportunity is for Forsyth County high school-level students enrolled in the CTAE Work Program for the 2024-2025 school year.
The purpose of this position is to provide a unique educational experience for Forsyth County High School students. This is an unpaid internship.

Intern Job Responsibilities:
Learn the overall concept of the organization, including the brand, goals, and all other aspects of service.
Engage with customers/citizens and provide service when necessary and as appropriate.
Provide suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes.
Learn and become proficient in systems if applicable.
Possible Project Responsibilities:
Training Series: Audio/Video Technology and Film Career Pathway
Collaborative creation of an Intranet for Pet Resource Center with the IT department to host training videos
Interns responsible for filming and editing diverse training videos tailored for Onboarding and Volunteer Orientations, encompassing:
General Orientation (Staff and Volunteer)
Sanitation Procedures (General, Feline, Canine)
Animal Handling (Feline and Canine)
Dog walking procedures
Kitten Care
Enrichment
Operations Interns: Veterinary Pathway Students
Rigorous training as Kennel Techs
Key responsibilities include the sanitation of Canine and Feline areas
Engagement in Dog Walking activities
Creation and distribution of enrichment items to alleviate kennel stress
Participation in Vet Assisting, covering grooming, medical assistance, and handling
Adoption Events (these are held on weekends)
