POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Radiology Director and/or Lead Technologist performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedure applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. This position regulates the CT scan equipment to produce high quality digital cross-sectional images for the purpose of detecting pathology and abnormalities in our patients.

This person must operate equipment safely and maintain ALARA standards while performing all types of procedures within the scope of an ARRT Certified CT Scan Technologist. This person must closely follow all established Infection Control measures that were developed specifically for the CT scan room and equipment. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with our internal and external customers, fellow employees, and other departments and facilities and our medical staff. This person must work closely with the radiologist staff, general medical staff and the Emergency Department staff

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited program for Radiographers.

  • ARRT Certification in CT.

  • Current state licensure or permit to practice medical imaging

  • Current Certification in Basic Life Support

Job Summary The Medication History Pharmacy Technician performs medication histories for new hospital admission. Under general supervision of the clinical pharmacist, provides complete and accurate information for each medication, e.g., drug name, dose, route, frequency, indication, and date/time last dose was taken. * Utilizes available resources for medication history collection including but not limited to: patient/family interview, medication lists, outside facility medication administration records, outpatient pharmacy records, and physician office records. * Verifies/updates patient allergy, adverse drug reaction, preferred pharmacy and primary care physician information in the electronic medical record. * Documents medication histories completed in the electronic health record, sending to the pharmacist for cosignature in an accurate and timely manner. * Documents medication histories in CPW/VigiLanz in an accurate and timely manner. Assists the medication reconciliation pharmacist by ensuring patients identified for discharge counseling and medication reconciliation have a pharmacy services completed medication history. * Prepares education materials for the medication reconciliation pharmacist as necessary. * Schedule may vary according to the needs of the facility/department and may include weekend, evening shift, holiday, on-call, and additional hours. Education & Experience * High school graduate or GED * 2 years previous retail pharmacy experience is required * 1 years of inpatient pharmacy experience is preferred Licenses, Certifications, & Training * Maintains current pharmacy technician registration or pharmacy intern license * Certification as a Pharmacy Technician for registered pharmacy technicians If you find this opportunity compelling, we encourage you to apply.
