Job Summary and Qualifications

• Demonstrates compassion, respect and empathy while performing procedures.
• Prepares patients and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
• Obtains high-quality CT images.
• Maintains proactive and effective communication with patients and physicians regarding all findings, including patient histories and test results.
• Collaborates and confers with all colleagues.

Requirements

• Current ARRT (CT)
• Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of imaging experience, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Customer service abilities, including effective listening skills
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
