CT Technologist - Multi Modality - CMC CT Scanner - Per Diem - Variable

Job Description: Prepares patients for procedures, assumes responsibility for patient needs during procedures. Performs procedures with accuracy and thoroughness in a timely manner, adhering to the protocols outlined in the department's procedure manual upon the order of a licensed independent practitioner for diagnostic interpretation by a radiologist. Education: AMA Approved School of Radiologic Technology

• Required Certificate Venipuncture

• Required if performing CT or within 6 months of assuming position Experience: Additional Experience Requirements: Maintains and acquires CE units as required by the State/National agencies CT or ARRT-CT Required if performing for any new hire after July 31, 2019. New graduates and internal transfers will have 14 months to obtain. All other new hires into a CT Technologist role will have 6 months to obtain. Certifications/Licensures: Radiologic Technologist

• Certified (CRT) Current California

• Required CRT Fluoroscopy

• California Department of Public Health

• Radiologic Health Branch – Required. For new hires, the technologist must obtain a fluoroscopy permit within 6 months. BLS Basic Life Support

• American Heart Association

• Required Rad Techs

• ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

• Required CT Computed Tomography

• ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

• Required if performing CT. Work Shift: 08.0 - Per Diem Days No Waive (United States of America) Pay Range: $57.50 - $77.49 Hourly Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure. Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
