Cartersville is seeking a CT Technologist to work PRN.
Must smile and make eye contact. The CT technologist performs CT procedures as ordered by approved members of the Medial Staff.
The CT technologist will perform the primary function of acquiring images of anatomy via CT imaging of all assigned patients in the Inpatient, Outpatient, ED or surgery setting. The technologist is responsible of meeting the established policies / standards of practice for this facility. Identifies problems as they arise related to the individual needs of the patient plans and carries out individualized imaging and related patient care.
Daily use of analytical and decision making skills. Participates in Performance Improvement activities to assure Continuous Quality Improvement. Maintains cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and all other customers.
Promotes a supportive, teamwork-oriented environment. Fulfills departmental responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision and values of CMC/. CT Technologists are expected to rotate on the CT call schedule for regular and holiday assignments.
Handles and delivers medications as prescribed by a Licensed Independent Practitioner.
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
Current Radiography registry and CT registry required.
Basic Healthcare Provider (BLS) Certification required within 90 days of hire of promotion.
Previous CT experience preferred.
