SUMMARY: Performs a variety of Computed Tomography (CT) procedures for the diagnosis of disease; provides appropriate care and service to patients of all age specific group.

CT Technologist exercises independence ingenuity and initiative while performing the exam. Assume responsibility for the preparation, monitoring, care, and safety of the patient.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.

HOURS: Per Diem, Varied Shifts

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: One-year experience in a Hospital or clinical environment.

Previous training involving all age groups, neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric. Skilled in Siemens CT equipment, 16 and 64 slice.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS: ARRT/CRT in X-RAY and CT and BLS certification required.
