CT Technologist

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team in Rochester, NY. As a CT Technologist at Medical Imagery Solutions & Staffing, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and empathy. Key Responsibilities:

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification before initiating the scan; strictly adhering to department policy and procedure for patient safety

• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.

• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable.

• Insert IVs when necessary for the test.

• Positions patients accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobility; must utilize safe patient handling.

• Maintains accurate patient record keeping by properly documenting all necessary components within EPIC including identifying images and assuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completion.

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility. Requirements :

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and maintains Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

• NYS licensure (must obtain before starting position) -Two (2) Years Experience

• Level 1 Trauma Center Experience

• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) Preferred: - Injection certification preferred to be willing to complete during the orientation process.

• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred. Soft Skills Required: -Effective written and verbal communication skills
