About the Unit/Department/Team

LHS Radiology is a dynamic team that works directly with patients, providers, and team departments.

Mission for Position

Provide quality, diagnostic studies and procedures for the interpretation of disease processes.

Duties & Responsibilities OR Position Summary

• Perform diagnostic radiology exams and procedures

• Interact professionally with patients and staff

• Collaborate with team players to complete tasks

• Process imaging and report requests

• Schedule patients and answer department phone

• Critically think in a dynamic workspace

Position Type

Weekend overnight schedule:

Friday = 19:00 - 07:00

Saturday = 19:00 - 07:00

Sunday = 19:00 - 07:00

Holiday coverage on rotation

0.8 FTE

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiology (24-monthcourse) or more, or a new graduate awaiting board exam

• Currently registered by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

• Maintain CEU's as set by the ARRT

• Strong CT skills

• Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with physician staff and patients.

• Basic computer skills, Knowledge of Excel and Power Point desired

• Familiar with EMR systems, PACS systems, and EPIC desired.
