Obtain a high standard of imaging and positioning Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions and be able to start an IV line to administer contrast fluids Transport patients to and from the department Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system Assist with other activities as necessary Qualifications Job Requirements T echnical or Associate’s radiography degree Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment Must maintain registry while employed Must have up to date BLS certification
