#Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT) for Radiology Technology

#Completion of CT training (structured or on the job) for CT Technologist

#BLS by the end of the conditional period

#Active Registered Technologist (ARRT) for CT, or CT registered within:

#2 years from hire/transfer date for trainee, or

#18 months from hire/transfer date for registry eligible staff

#1-year field experience at Boulder Community Hospital preferred#

#Intricate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and a basic understanding of human physiology

#Able to adapt exam routines and techniques when necessary to optimize quality of exams

#Ability to work closely with other Radiology Technologists and physicians

#Ability to perform venipuncture

#Knowledge of sterile preparations and procedures Responsibilities#

#Performs quality patient care

#Orient new staff

#Enforces policies and procedures

#QA/QC activities

#Works toward goal of quality improvement

#Schedules patients

#Coordinates clinical information and previous testing to determine if additional views need to be obtained

#Monitors and cleans equipment and reports equipment problems to the Supervisor
