For Life. The CT Technologist Aid supports the smooth operation of the CT Department. #Some essential job duties include: Will Guide patients to/from the CT department. Transporting non-ambulatory patients if necessary Assists with transferring patients on/off the CT table, using transfer devices as necessary Assists with room turn-over in between patient exams Performs clerical duties including scanning documents to PACS and assisting with imaging record requests Prepares and delivers oral contrast to in-patients as ordered by provider with technologist oversight Maintains a clean and orderly environment for patients and coworkers including daily cleaning of CT equipment Helps monitor and re-stock inventory Performs preliminary patient screening interviews as well as preliminary exam explanations (answers any questions within scope) We require a High school diploma or equivalent and BLS certification which can be obtained within one month of hire.
