Prepares for and assists the physician in procedures, including interventional procedures. Performs reconstruction of CT images. Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. EDUCATION/TRAINING: Minimum: Completion of accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Preferred: Experience as a hospital radiographer and CT technologist # Must provide copy of diploma/degree for highest level of education obtained LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Minimum:# Certification by ARRT in Radiology or current NMTCB certification.# Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency). CT certification within 24 months of hire. CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire.
