Responsibilities: Perform various Mail Center activities (sorting, metering, folding, inserting, delivery, pickup, etc.) Lift heavy boxes, files or paper when needed Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines Adhere to all safety procedures Take direction from supervisor or site manager Maintain all logs and reporting documentation; attention to detail Participate in cross-training and perform other duties as assigned (Filing, outgoing shipments, etc) Operating mailing, copy or scanning equipment Shipping & Receiving Handle time-sensitive material like confidential, urgent packages Perform other tasks as assigned Scanning incoming mail to recipients Perform file purges and pulls Create files and ship files Provide backfill when needed Enter information daily into spreadsheets Identify charges and match them to billing Sort and deliver mail, small packages

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of 6 months customer service related experience High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required

Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills required (Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred) Experience running mail posting equipment a plus Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Lifting up to 55 lbs with or without accommodations Willingness and availability to work additional hours if assigned Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment Competency in performing multiple functional tasks Ability to meet employer's attendance policy

Responsibilities include: * Analyze, in conjunction with all levels of management, the training and development needs of the facility so that staff have the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to satisfactorily perform job responsibilities and achieve organizational goals and objectives. * Exercise supervisory authority so that applicable labor agreements and plans are equitably administered and employees effectively perform assigned job duties to achieve the objectives of the training program and institution. * Design, develop and deliver quality facility training programs to ensure consistency with department mission. * Ensure that career and/or skill development activities contribute positively to facility goals. * Develop and manage a budget for training so that proper facility objectives are reached within budget allowances. * Oversee the documentation and maintenance of training records so that such information is available and accurate. * Establish and maintain productive communication and organizational relationships so that training and development goals may be achieved. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications The hiring supervisor will only receive those applications/resumes clearly meeting the below minimum qualifications. * An Associate's degree or higher in Training and Development, Education, Adult Education, Human Resources, Criminal Justice, Criminology, Communications, Organizational Development, Virtual Instruction or related field. AND * Three years of professional-level experience designing, developing, and/or evaluating employee development training programs. (NOTE: A Bachelor's degree in Training and Development, Education, Adult Education, Human Resources, Criminal Justice, Criminology, Communications, Organizational Development, Virtual Instruction or related field may be substituted for six months of experience, and a Master's degree in one of the above programs may be substituted for one year of experience.) AND * Knowledge of the principles of employee development concepts, curriculum design, adult learning theory, training techniques and approaches, training evaluation methods, training resources and current trends in the field sufficient to address issues faced by top management through the design and implementation of an innovative employee development program. * Ability to provide effective supervision to staff and cross-functional teams. * Ability to design, develop and/or implement a complex in-service and pre-service employee development program. * Proven ability to effectively present training programs to a variety of audiences. * Basic personal computer skills, such as e-mail, word processing, and spreadsheet software (preferably the MS Office suite). * Advanced skills in using presentation software (preferably MS PowerPoint) to create effective training presentations and handouts. * Organizational skills sufficient to organize and coordinate simultaneous activities or events for employees. Preferred Qualifications * A Bachelor's degree or higher in Training and Development, Education, Adult Education, Human Resources, Criminal Justice, Criminology, Communications, Organizational Development, Virtual Instruction or related field. * Nationally recognized certification/designation in any of the following (or similar): Association of Training and Development, International Association of Corrections Professionals, Blanchard, Kirkpatrick, Korn Ferry, Kuder, Myers Briggs, etc. * Experience in data collection and needs assessment. * Professional-level experience designing, developing, delivering, directing and evaluating face-to-face employee development programs in a work setting servicing over 100 employees. * Knowledge and experience in designing and developing and delivering virtual training. * Experience in customizing and delivering leadership development programs. * Experience as an instructor of one or more of the following: self-defense, control tactics, weapons, cardiopulmonary resuscitation/first aid (CPR/FA), or similar training. * Corrections-related training experience, such as completion of Department of Corrections Instructor Institute; Academy-Interpersonal Skills for new Correctional staff (IPC); and/or experience as a Corrections Field Training or as a Corrections trained and certified mentor.
