Description Customer Service Rep Eden Prairie MN Contract position The Provider Operations team became aware of a regulatory need to load approximately 4,300 non-licensed, non-credentialed providers to support a regulatory directive. The loading of these providers will support a requirement change for claims processing which will see these individual providers be used to process a claim versus the groups that they work for.

This change will drive downstream encounter data submission alterations to the State of LA, which - if we do not comply - will drive the erroring out of submitted claim encounters to the state creating a large constraint on the business from a regulatory and ongoing revenue basis. Specific Duties: 1. Apply knowledge/skills to activities that often vary from day to day. 2.

Require little assistance with standard and non-standard requests. 3. Solve routine problems on own. 4. Work with supervisor to solve more complex problems. 5.

Prioritize and organize own work to meet agreed upon deadlines. 6. Work with others as part of a team. 7. Provider data entry. 8.

Data maintenance and verification. 9. Initiating database improvements. 10. Data integrity and quality assurance Must have qualifications/experience: 1.High school diploma/GED 2.1+ year experience in the healthcare industry. 3.1+ year of data entry experience. 4.1+ year experience working with provider information (i.e. demographics, fee schedules, contracts, or customer service, etc.) 5.Basic level (or higher) of proficiency with MS Word and Excel Shift Start/End Time: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM M-F Dress Code:

Shifts are typically 4.5-5.5 hours at various times throughout the day. This position is required to work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month and a minimum of 8 total shifts in a month. Location: Community Center Reporting Relationship: Reports to Recreation Supervisor- Community Center Operations Community Center Division The Community Center Division of the Park and Recreation department has the responsibility for managing the Eden Prairie Community Center, Oak Point Pool, City beaches and Park Facility Rental. Division team provides a variety of affordable recreation programs and services for all age groups and all abilities. This division is also responsible for providing support to department Recreation Supervisors and the programs they manage. Position Responsibilities The Customer Service Support position supports the Community Center by welcoming and assisting customers and ensuring that all internal and external services are provided in a friendly, efficient and effective manner. The primary position responsibilities and areas of impact are: * Anticipating and responding to the needs of the internal and external customer by providing useful information or alternative resources; ensure the operations of the Eden Prairie Community Center are maintained at a level that exceeds customer expectations. * Manage membership and program registration together with customer service staff. Give work direction to the Customer Service team and other part time staff to help provide excellent customer service to citizens, customers, and employees of the Community Center, both in-person and on the phone. * Supports the Park and Recreation Department by assisting with patron relations, registrations, reservations, meetings, events, and programs. * Administrative support such as IT support, word processing, data entry, filing, cash handling, bookkeeping, record management and account maintenance. * Monitors all activities throughout the building during after school hours to ensure safety compliance by all users. While these areas are the primary focus of the position, we believe strongly in teamwork and employees will be called upon to perform a variety of duties as a part of their role with the City. A successful candidate for this position will have a strong attention to detail. Position Requirements Education: Education: High School Diploma or GED; CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Work Experience: Minimum of three years progressive experience in a customer service/office support role; administrative support experience including program registration, membership management, data entry, word processing, and record management; previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); experience with Rec Trac software preferred. Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to lift/pull/push/move/carry up to 50 lbs frequently, 50-100lbs occasionally, and over 100 lbs on a limited basis; and the ability to bend/stand/reach.
