HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW

Will be the subject matter expert in Trade Compliance for this family owned Global Company working in the University of Toronto, Mississauga campus area. Will be 100% on site with flexible working hours.

EXPECTATIONS

Here are some of the responsibilities:

SME for all Trade Compliance - #1 position

Full responsibility for all Customs/Gov’t related inquiries

Tariff Classifications

Responsible for Brokers/Supply Chain movement of goods

Work with end users for information to help ensure compliant clearance of goods

US/CA trade compliance experience – keep up on regulatory requirements

ESSENTIALS

Min 5 yrs. Experience working in Trade Compliance

Cross Border experience US/CA required

Experience with the determination of Classifications

Understanding of ACE/SWI (Canada)

Must have technical computer skills to include ERP experience

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

CCS or Broker’s License highly preferred

Position is in the University of Toronto, Mississauga campus area – will be 100% on site – flexible working hours
