Position Summary:

As a Cross-Border Data Movement Compliance Manager ("CBDM Compliance Manager"), you will report to the Head of Privacy Capabilities & Tools within the MUFG Global Privacy Office. You will build a team responsible for planning and execution of a program to help ensure compliance with privacy and data protection, AML, KYC and Bank Secrecy requirements that impact cross-border data movement. Additionally, you will lead the crafting and coordinating testing, monitoring and internal audit reviews. You will also support project management needs for the development of procedures and policies to support cross-border data movement for critical projects, working across the team and with other key partners.

Role Responsibilities:

  • You will lead the CBDM Compliance team, whose representative tasks will include PIA (Privacy Impact Assessment)/DPIA (Data Protection Impact Assessment) review to support global and regional projects.

  • You will support the implementation of MUFG's global privacy compliance program.

  • You will work with project teams to help build and sustain Privacy and cross-border data movement tools and processes to keep pace with the dynamic global regulatory landscape.

  • Assess privacy and data protection and provide consulting and advice to improve business and information technology partners to identify and mitigate risks.

  • You will work closely with line of business compliance officers in the ongoing development of key compliance controls as well as with 1st line risk and control group owners.

  • You will act as a central point of contact for training development, new product and service reviews.

Job Summary Reporting to the Procure to Pay (P2P) Contract Manager, the Contract Compliance Specialist serves as a control function role to ensure accurate stewardship for all legal documents, associated data records, and orders related to third party vendor contracts and have responsibility for the quality, accuracy and integrity of the contract records and files assigned to them in the contracts and compliance repository. Major Responsibilities: The role of the Contract Compliance Specialist will include but not be limited to the following * Conducts Quality Control review of contract records being processed for Approvals & Signatures * Works closely with Strategic Sourcing & Buy Desk to resolve the best ordering opportunity and process for contract based orders and contract compliance controls by category * Conducts Intake process for developing any required contract based compliance records and orders * Ensuring compliance to the Bank's Policies & Procedures regarding third-party contractual relationships * Uses SAP Ariba Source to Pay system to process requests * Responds to internal requests from business owners, vendor relationship managers, legal, internal risk management groups, and others for data regarding contract based orders * Partners with the appropriate internal parties including Strategic Sourcing and Contracts & Negotiations teams to stay abreast of policy guidelines and requirements * Conducts proactive daily operations of Contracts Compliance services and establishes and maintains desktop procedures to improve operational efficiency * Drives data accuracy; and improves existing contracts lifecycle management practices * Assists in monitoring accuracy of contract data in the contracts repository as well as research and collect any required missing contract information and documents in support of Bank policies. * Supports special projects * This position typically requires a degree from a four-year college (e.g., B.A., B.S.), and typically 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. * Must be very comfortable dealing with all levels of employees, ability to form solid working relationships, in particular with senior level managers. * Effectively lead the primary function of the job, and also work on various projects within the division and directly with departments. * Very team oriented in working with peers on projects and day to day assignments. * Solid skills with SAP Ariba Contracts & Contract Compliance Modules or similar Source-to-Pay systems. Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience utilizing the Workday tool, would be advantageous. Experience in shared services/internal service delivery role preferred.
