Mission and Description:
Support the government's effort to rapidly deliver joint operational products to various government Agencies, DoD Services, and Intelligence Community organizations by providing secure boundary services and guard farm systems.
The successful candidate will design, develop, integrate, operate and maintain a scalable network security boundary for the government. This role will provide the design, deployment, and implementation of network security components (firewalls, switches, VPNs, etc.) boundary solutions and Cross Domain Solutions. The successful candidate will use their knowledge of secure system architecture, components, and devices, and software used in current Cross Domain Solutions to support network security, CDS design, testing, implementation, sustainment, lab management, and process engineering.
A major objective of the position is to advise the government on security improvements for the guard farms, identify efficiencies in the UCDSMO authorization process to support expedited approvals for new data flows and to create and maintain all documentation required for Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) certification in accordance with ICD 503 and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
This position will also include the development of new data flows for emerging mission needs and shepherding that data flow through the UCDSMO authorization process. In addition, this position will be required to troubleshoot existing data flows as required and modify as needed to resume normal cross domain operation.
Here aretheminimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree inComputer Science,Information Assurance or Information Security System Engineering
- 5 years of demonstrated experience with Cross Domain Solutions
- DoD 8570 Compliance with IASAE Level 1
