Headquartered in New York City, located in midtown Manhattan on New York's famed Eastside, our Loews Hotels & Co Home Office teams provide support to all our properties throughout the United States and Canada. Our talented teams provide guidance over strategic planning, operations, revenue management, communications, marketing, finance, human resources, and information technology.

Support the evolution of Loews Hotels' direct marketing, CRM and customer growth strategies in an effort to increase direct marketing efficiency through integrated channel marketing, optimize guest profiles, increase guest retention rates, and lower cost of acquisition. Look to marry data-driven testing, strategies and tactics with on-brand marketing assets to create a compelling and consistent customer commercial journey. This role will be based out of New York City OR Nashville.

Job Specific:

  • Analyze and act on CRM and marketing campaign data including strategic analyses of the customer database to shape channel marketing strategy, the development of specific marketing communications, and optimization of future campaigns.

  • Collaborate with Director of CRM to become fluent in the CRM technical integrations and workflows, and facilitate planning between partners and internal departments involved in technology- and data-driven CRM initiatives.

  • Support evolving customer acquisition and retention concepts across leisure and business segments including behind-the-scenes technical workflow components, and development of messaging to bring concepts to life for consumers.

  • Produce a variety of personalized, marketing communications, including frequent marketing emails, based on customer segmentation and lifecycle.

  • Liaise with e-commerce and brand marketing to help execute marketing messages across all channel marketing touchpoints, including writing and implementing website copy as needed.

  • Work directly with regional and hotel marketing teams to understand hotel-specific business needs and value propositions to layer in hotel-level marketing messages.

  • Coordinate and own components of all transactional email processes, business rules and content.

  • Work closely on specific initiatives with CRM agency partners, involving technical and marketing components.

Qualifications:

The individual must possess the following qualifications and be able to explain and demonstrate that s/he can perform the essential functions of the job, with our without reasonable accommodation.

  • Five or more years experience with customer relationship management marketing strategy, multi-channel marketing or other relevant marketing experience.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience leveraging data to drive strategy and optimization

  • Ability to develop marketing communications strategy and tactics

  • Effective internal communications skills to all levels of the organization and coordinating with agency partners

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills

  • SEO background a plus, or interest to learn and implement best practices

  • Project management, including timeline and workflow management

  • Adaptable personality with interest in a variety of aspects of marketing

  • Self-starter with effective organizational skills

  • Comfortable working autonomously

Education: Bachelor's degree required, preferably with course work in: marketing, CRM, communications

With a dedication to improving and evolving our lead management process, the MAM will work directly with marketing to ensure marketing automation systems are optimized and mapping to CRM efficiently. Expected outcomes here include an increase in the quantity, quality, nurturing, tracking, and ROI of all leads generated. Working from a strategic point of view, the MAM will be expected to collaborate with marketing team members, IT team members, the business intelligent team, and vendors. Analyzing metrics and results is a critical element of the MAM's responsibility. Improving strategy, recommending changes, being innovative all stem from knowledge gained in analyzing efforts of the lead response and management team. The MAM is responsible for regularly reporting to the DoLE key performance indicators. The Marketing Automation Manager needs to be a strategic thinker, and an effective communicator. A self-sufficient individual comfortable working in a complex, evolving environment. Exceptional project management and organizational skills are a must. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES – (The below listed duties are not all inclusive. This position must also perform other duties as assigned.): * Executing a strategic direction for HubSpot and Pardot configuration, usage, adoption, engagement, and training with the Marketing, and BI organizations is critical to the success * Ensuring the successful integration, launch, and maintenance of a newly created marketing automation program is expected. * Evolution of the lead management process within Hubspot. To determine improved work-flows, to justify changes, to secure stakeholder buy-in, and to execute changes while keeping a strong nod toward change management challenges and opportunities will be critical * Active engagement in training on technology critical to the management of lead conversion and tracking will be a priority * Coordination with marketing on campaign follow-up will be critical to this team's success. Having a thorough knowledge of upcoming campaigns – traditional, digital, and events, follow-up expectations, and communication strategies (both internal and external) are a must * Establishing a regular cadence to strategic discussions with marketing leaders will be expected * Innovation and performance core values will be considered a major part of this person's responsibilities JOB SPECIFICATIONS: (What specialized, technical, or practical knowledge, skills, experience or abilities are needed to perform the job. (Include degrees, certificates, licenses, or other bona fide job qualifications.) * KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * Bachelor's degree in related area, BA or BS * 2-4 years' relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in B2B direct sales, sales management, sales operations, product management, or marketing * Deep knowledge of lead creation, development, nurturing, and management * Experience with aspects of B2B sales processes, including customer relationship management (CRM), and analytics * Extensive experience in CRM principles, practices, and applications. * Extensive experience in marketing automation and related best practices. * Knowledge of digital tools to communicate with, foster collaboration, and share best practices with marketing and sales professionals a plus * Extensive experience in educating business audiences on the value and use of new tools * Experience working with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and product management * SKILLS REQUIRED (manual, verbal or mental manipulation of data or things): * This candidate must possess superior verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent organizational skills with a heightened sense of attention to detail are key characteristics of the perfect candidate * Strong interpersonal skills that allow for healthy internal and external relationships are a must * Additionally, strong computer skills whereby the candidate is fluent in salesforce.com, marketing automation (like Pardot or Hubspot) is required.
