LendingClub is seeking a CRM Marketing Director who will utilize data to raise our marketing effectiveness. Your primary focus is to improve conversion, unlock process efficiencies, and deliver a better customer experience through the strategic use of marketing data. You are a versatile, well-rounded marketer who collaborates well and understands the roles of contributors and partners across a range of projects.
Working in partnership with the team and as a hands-on contributor, you build relationships across departments in support of the personal loans product. Success requires continuous engagement with marketing channel managers and business partners such as product management, data services, and vendor management.
Devise a flexible, multifaceted segmentation strategy to allow for hyper-targeted personalized campaigns.
Develop an overall marketing automation strategy for the Borrower Marketing business.
Apply your expertise with integrating data and a deep understanding of marketing technology and campaign execution processes
Identify new ways to employ user-level data, and design and implement tests to quantify lift. Communicate business impact, and drive process changes where prudent.
Discover and integrate third-party data sources that can supplement our in-house client profile data.
Enable consistent, efficient access to data.
Coordinate multichannel messaging and content strategy for prospects, working closely with product marketing and the channel managers for digital, email, direct mail, and partnerships.
Manage the multichannel strategy for marketing to repeat borrowers and previous applicants.
Partner with marketing analytics team to establish critical metrics and reporting for multichannel initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience
3 years of experience in audience creation, targeting, selection, campaign execution across marketing channels
Understanding of CRM, customer attributes, and campaign engagement data
Proficiency with relational databases, with a working knowledge of SQL
Experience with paid acquisition channels such as Paid Search, Paid Social, and Display with deep knowledge of channel-specific metrics and measurement
Experience with email program management using a major ESP
Bachelor's degree in relevant field
Experience with the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget)
Experience with SAS and advanced SQL, with the ability to join data across multiple tables and environments
Familiarity with the consumer lending industry
