Interested in taking a leadership role to enable Salesforce.com and related CRM capabilities to help power Scholastic's Education growth plan? Scholastic is seeking a senior CRM leader who can help plan and execute the broader CRM strategy, with a heavy focus on guiding the build out and adoption of Salesforce.com. This role will interface with the business unit president, leaders of sales and sales operations, leads of product and services teams, head of omnichannel marketing, and head of finance, in addition to a very important role in being the primary interface to the Scholastic Technology Services CRM team.
The primary focus of this role is the creation and execution of a strategic CRM roadmap that heavily leverages Salesforce.com, customer data, and integrations with relevant tools to deliver business outcomes. The ideal individual will be adept in the Salesforce.com platform and ecosystem and how it can drive practices and processes employed by business teams, with experience leveraging customer data insights to drive marketing, sales, and operations activities.
In this role you will engage in the entire lifecycle (vision, strategy, definition, planning, delivery and support), with primary ownership for defining, planning, delivering and supporting new and existing features and capabilities on Salesforce.com and integrated data and tools. This role will ensure that maximum business value is consistently reflected in a dynamic roadmap and well maintained backlog that reflects prioritization based on the key business drivers aimed at improving revenue, customer engagement, and product and operational efficiencies. Being comfortable working in a fast paced environment and engaging across business and agile scrum teams is a must. This role is also expected to help business teams navigate ways to best leverage out of the box capabilities on Salesforce.com and other connected applications and services to address business and process improvement opportunities.
HOW YOU CAN FIT
Experience in driving Customer Experience and Sales Productivity and Effectiveness initiatives
Demonstrated ability to distill a strategy into priority initiatives and discrete requirements that can be funneled into an intake process
Experience in working across sales, product, operations, and data teams to plan and execute CRM initiatives that involve multiple technologies and data sets necessary to achieve goals
Expert problem solver and creative thinker who is able to envision solutions and easily overcome challenges
A great eye for design and user experience to help simplify the presentation layer to the sales team to drive adoption
Strong proven track record in managing Salesforce and CRM product development projects from inception to delivery
8+ years of product management experience using Salesforce.com technologies
Salesforce reporting and dashboard development experience a plus
Salesforce basic configuration experience a plus (page layout updates, user management etc)
Clear understanding of what Salesforce Lightning offers compared to other Salesforce products and apps that integrate with Salesforce
Adept at building relationships, influencing stakeholders across groups, and driving adoption
Evidence of successfully driving a full end-to-end product lifecycle in an Agile environment (e.g., working with business and engineering teams to write and validate user stories)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Excellent analytical skills
Experience working in a fast-paced digital environment
