About the role:

Promotes commercially-approved company products through education of current and potential customers, implant and patient clinic coverage within a defined region by providing clinical education, sales strategy and support in order to assist in achieving projected sales goals and increasing sales revenues within product segments. May also support day-to-day field execution and management of Boston Scientific clinical trials at selected clinical trial centers centers in accordance with all applicable SOPs.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Develops relationships with hospital personnel (e.g. through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) and to identifies key decision makers in order to facilitate future sales.

  • Trains on and maintains knowledge of clinical trial protocols, CRM Clinical Department standard operating procedures, and compliance toward the regulations of world-wide regulatory bodies to meet corporate and departmental objectives.

  • Manages clinical trial activity within his/her assigned territory which includes but is not limited to completing Interest Visits and Site Initiation Visits.

  • Educates clinical investigators on clinical trial protocols, clinical process, and investigational products and features.

  • Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions.

  • Follows company and divisional guidelines for managing commercial inventory and, if applicable, investigational product inventory.

  • On-call duties may be required 24 hours a day, 7 days per week; on rotational basis.

What we're looking for in you:

Basic Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years work experience with Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Science, Math, Business, Nursing preferred and/or equivalent technical work experience. or 3 + years in a Boston Scientific clinical position or 2 years with completed/passed IBHRE certification that is active. External equivalent is 4+ years competitive CRM clinical work experience with a completed/passed IBHRE certification that is active, OR minimum 8 years cardiac-related clinical work experience with completed/passed NASPE/IBHRE certification.

  • Strong technical aptitude; the ability to understand, communicate and train others in use of complex medical software as it pertains to device therapy and disease states.

  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the medical community including patients.

  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible, adaptable and work in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment where urgency dictates work schedule.

  • Ability to take rotational 24/7 call with a sales team involving holidays, weekends.

  • Ability to work independently where daily schedule varies by hours worked and tasks managed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab and/or Electrophysiology (EP) Lab

  • Medical device sales, clinical education and/or clinical research experience

Location: Nebraska State Penitentiary and Lincoln Correctional Center Examples of Work Schedules, distributes/balances, and guides the work assignments of inmates/offenders in accordance with work flow/assignment requirements, to complete work in a timely fashion. Monitors and reports on work performance of assigned inmates/offenders, to determine overall conformity with established timetables and quality standards and to document and communicate performance and training needs. Trains inmates/offenders in specific task and job practices of sanitation to improve and maintain their performance levels. Inspects unit and living areas to ensure required safety and sanitation standards are met. Reports observations and information to assist in the development of personalized treatment programs. Writes reports on inspections, inmate/offender grievances, disciplinary actions, and inmate/offender performance to document activities, to have a permanent record, and to provide management with information. Observes inmates/offenders in the housing unit area to detect abnormalities, problems, or unrest and to initiate corrective actions. Instructs inmates/offenders on the rules and regulations of the unit and expected behavior, in order to orientate new inmates/offenders to the prison environment and to develop a constructive rapport with them. Researches inmates'/offenders' backgrounds to establish a treatment file and to provide information for proper classification. Counsels inmates/offenders, including crisis intervention, to assist them in adapting to the prison environment; solving problems; filing grievances; and planning for treatment changes, furloughs, and parole. Directs compliance with all administrative regulations, operational memorandums, post orders, State statutes, and agency policies and procedures to maintain prison order and effective prison operation. Evaluates specific charges and facts and recommends appropriate corrective action by participating in disciplinary hearings to properly discipline inmates/offenders for noncompliance with established policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. Recommends changes in inmate/offender programming by participating on committees, disciplinary hearings, and unit staff team meetings to better recommend programming that would be beneficial for the inmate/offender and contribute to the security of the facility. Overtime, voluntary and mandatory, includes weekends, holidays and double-shifts. Qualifications / Requirements REQUIREMENTS: Associate's degree in criminal justice, behavioral science, human services or related field OR two years of experience working with persons referred through the legal system. Must be at least 18 years of age. No felony or domestic abuse related convictions. PREFERRED: Bilingual skills in English and Spanish desired and assessed. OTHER: Must have a valid driver's license.
