As the Associate, CRM & Digital, you will participate in the planning, execution, analysis, and overall business impact of CRM via email and SMS marketing communications. In addition, you will lead and sometimes co-lead end-to-end customer experiences through an omnichannel approach.
In this role, you will optimize the customer experience, develop robust KPIs, help evolve the strategy, and build new customer journeys to meet the ever-evolving customer. In addition, you will coordinate the creation of brand awareness, product placement emails, SMS messaging, and technically advanced data-driven communication strategies that promote automation, efficiency, and conversion.
A Day in the Life of an Associate, CRM & Digital:
Own the end-to-end marketing automation workflow from strategic planning, content creation, audience targeting, and post-send analysis.
In collaboration with the Business Intelligence team, work to develop email /SMS KPIs to determine the success or failure of email strategies.
Pull data from the email service provider (ESP) and develop an analysis to report on email marketing performance.
Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders regarding project status, including project plans, issues, and escalations, and be accountable for the technical integrity of assigned projects.
Work closely with the Director, CRM & Digital, to implement an aggressive "test and learn" approach in the email channel, leveraging data to drive performance.
Drive the development of regularly scheduled broadcast emails and define target segments and content to execute and hit deadlines.
Assist with implementing triggered and automated lifecycle journeys, utilizing email and SMS messaging. This includes light HTML coding, email content writing, and more.
Stay abreast of email and SMS marketing trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
2+ years of digital marketing experience with a specific focus on marketing automation.
Experience managing email and SMS programs through ESP platforms (Klaviyo, Sailthru, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.).
Experience using digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.).
Light HTML coding to handle minor adjustments or ESP-specific coding.
Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
Thrives in entrepreneurial environments with a can-do attitude and the ability to quickly adjust to evolving priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in e-commerce or direct digital response is required.
Knowledge of email and SMS marketing best practices is a must.
Strong communication skills are required.
